New Unit Financials - Excel Template with indicative numbers

This is perhaps the most valuable piece of information on this blog. The attached link will open a spreadsheet that details out the various financial components of a restaurant - The Initial Investment, The Operating Costs and Staffing Costs. I have used a standard 1000-1500 sft (about a 40 seater) Indian restaurant serving food at reasonable prices (Rs. 100-150 per person per meal) as an example. You can play around with the data to suit your specific business idea.

Disclaimer: Please note that the numbers are indicative and based on information I know. So kindly validate the figures for yourself. The spreadsheet needs to be used more as a template than as an actual financial planning document.

    LIVE Entry – 1 (March-21-2014)

    Problem: HP Printer not connecting to my laptop.

    I had an issue while connecting my 2 year old HP printer to my brother's laptop that I had borrowed for starting my own business. I used a quick google search to fix the problem but that did not help me.

    I then decided to get professional help to solve my problem. After having received many quotations from various companies, i decided to go ahead with Online Tech Repair (www.onlinetechrepairs.com).

    4) One of the tech support executives accessed my laptop and started troubleshooting.
    5) I sat back and watched as the tech support executive was navigating my laptop to spot the issue. The issue was fixed.
    6) I was told that it was due to an older version of the driver that had been installed.

    My Experience
    I loved the entire friendly conversation that took place with them. They understood my needs clearly and acted upon the solution immediately. Being a technical noob, i sometimes find it difficult to communicate with tech support teams. It was a very different experience with the guys at Online Tech Repairs.     You did a great job, I can suggest that one mistake you have not taken Interest on loan. The loan component is to be taken. If you tale a loan of 40 Lacks , the interest will be around 12% ( approx) Rs 4.8 Lacks per annuly.
